The Department of Justice has opened a new investigation into former New York Republican Congressman George Santos. President Trump commuted his 7 year sentence for financial crimes, but now he’s being investigated for insider trading. Officials say Santos bet against himself attending Trump’s SOTU address, after telling his X followers he was going.  By NOT going, he was then able to cash in tens of thousands of dollars with his bet.
