Racism in Your Backyard

The media misconstrues the stories of diverse people. As a Muslim woman, I have been depicted as oppressed or dangerous. I knew other diverse people had similar experiences, and I wanted to provide a platform for these people to share their narrative and reclaim it. Summer El-Khodary, the host and the founder of the non-profit Cultural Communications, sits down with people around the world, activists, mental health specialists, faith leaders, and more and sheds light on the real issues facing these communities.
