Welcome and thank you for listening to All Aboard The Dream Train. A dream storytelling podcast where people from all walks of life walk us through their dreams and how those dreams have affected them in their waking life. Today we hear from a very talented friend of mine Trent Stocking. Trent is a carpenter by trade and starts off with his recurring dreams about work. coming home from a long day and falling asleep and dreaming about working only to wake up and have to get to work! The worst! This is not the first time i've heard of this. In fact, Im excited to record an episode in the future about a a friend that served in the navy and experienced what he called "boat-mares" a very real and disturbing experience from what he described. 30:00 - nightmare about his grandmother turning into a ware wolf chasing him around a track and field track. Eventually running up a set of stairs. And waking up right before she got to him 34:50 trent makes a connection during this interview which is really cool to hear. His dream came first and then it happened in real life! Trent is chasing a crush up a staircase in a castle type tower from underground. She reaches out for trents hand and then pulls it back at the last moment and pushes him down the stairs. The stairs and tower begins to crumble all around him and finally makes impact with the ground and then wakes up 42:00 Trent describes his dream surroundings map. A place that we returns to often when dreaming. He’s able to fly around this area and describes it in detail. 46:58 we talk about the importance of writing you dreams down and drawing your dreams A quote by Greg Levoy "Just get to your dreams before the world does. Write them down before you even get out of bed. Because the moment your feet hit the floor you literally ground yourself and lightning energy of dreams disappear into the earth." 54:00 trents real story about being hit by a truck as a child while on vacation with his family. He is struck while playing hide and seek and relives the dream over and over again. A recurring dream that haunts him. Until one night he experienced a different positive outcome within the Dream and conquers his fear. He has never had the dream since.
