Algorithmically Incorrect Hockey
Sean Shapiro and Robert Tiffin
Episode 12 - The 2025-26 NHL Season Retrospective
1 hour 14 minutes Posted Jun 17, 2026 at 8:07 pm.
Sean and Robert are forced to do an entire show without shoving all the hard work onto a guest, so they just invoke Stephen Meserve's name about fifty times. They begin with Sandwich Corrections. We get going
by discussing Chris Johnston's report about the Hurricanes discussing both Logan Stankoven and Jason Robertson during Mikko Rantanen trade talks with Dallas back in 2025. The guys then spend the second half of the show
talking about how Carolina finally won another Cup championship, how the NHL built on the momentum of Four Nations with a better-than-expected postseason and Olympics, and the upcoming PWHL and NHL drafts. There's also some musing about Mason McTavish and Mikael Granlund
