End of an era: Alan Jones farewells his radio family

Alan&rsquo;s broadcasting career began in 1985 when he was recruited to join Radio 2UE as their Mornings host. He moved to the Breakfast shift in 1988 and in 2001, Alan joined Radio 2GB, elevating the station to number 1 in the Sydney market. He has won more than 220 surveys, which is thought to be a world record.
