I am thankful
I am thankful to have stumbled across your books and content. The way your mind works is beautiful and has helped me understand marketing. My mind works in analogies, and if I can’t create a metaphor, I cannot understand it. Thank you for all your gold nuggets!
Hits the mark
The advice/knowledge comes in a nice, easy to digest package without the ego shown by other seers. It’s an honest, straightforward, “I’m here to help” podcast. The only part that could be done better is the Q&A. The questioners take too long to get to their point and should be edited or coached on how to be brief.
Gather & Create give all the way...
You have changed my life... Thank you !
It's official, like a ref with a whistle.
Really glad I subbed this podcast when I did. It's dope on almost every level. I would give it 6-stars if I could.
Grateful for Seth and all the work he does
This is the information, the conversation, the mentorship, the teacher that I’ve been looking. There’s nothing that Seth puts out there that I’m not curious about. Thank you, Seth!!
A brilliant man - we are so lucky to have Seth
I struggle to find words to describe the impact Seth has had on my life. Unique, deep, honest, perspective, refreshing are words that come to mind when I think of him. Try to listen to this on 1.5x and I think your brain will melt. Thank you Seth. Purple Cow here
Deep brain stimulant
My brain always comes out of episodes with a sense that I can and should be doing more.

I really enjoy this podcast
What a great way to start your day. Thank you for the consistent and thoughtful content. Refreshing
A Fresh and Wise Perspective
Seth Godin is and has bee a thought leader before thought leaders existed. He has done this through public speaking, books, and now in the podcast medium world. This podcast not only helps me think but guides me through life eben flows. It's deep and thought provoking. I've been a fan of Seth Godin becasue his work is quality and consistent. He gives more than he asks and this is why is my favorite marketer. Much love to you Seth.
Seth presents each topic with such a level perspective that helps me to stimulate more thought. I will often catch myself thinking about something Seth has said in an episode throughout the weeks that follow. Love it! Like a good movie, I enjoy it when a podcast makes me keep thinking long after I have finished listening.
I love the insight that Seth brings. He’s thoughtful, attentive and aware. The conversation is forward thinking and thought provoking. Thanks Seth!!! I can’t wait to listen and read anything you produce.
Slow and unoriginal
Listened to a couple of episodes—the most recent, so the most accomplished—and found them to be so slow-moving as to be irritating. Worse, the quality of thought was same-old same-old. How can this guy be so famous? You’d have to be dreadfully ignorant to think this stuff is new or helpful. You would do better watching Maddow every night. At least she’s entertaining. Based on Godin’s reputation, I was expecting brilliance, but it’s the same-old same-old.
Am I the only Bolivian listening to this podcast?
Love every bit of all the reflections you do, ya da ya da ya da , my level of admiration is magnified ... and yeah, hearing the name of my home country woke me up
One of the best, most insightful, most engaging podcasts ever created.
Seth’s episodes are engaging, social, thought-provoking, and simply superb. Listening to all 100+ episodes is like sitting through a year-long course in creating culture change.
Interesting and Engaging
This is the best business podcast you'll find. Seth always shares his ideas with great examples everyone can relate to and gives you something to think about! Love it!!!
Karen @ Interview Valet
Seth’s perspective is incredibly valuable. I have had gamechanging insights while listening to him share his expertise.
A vital podcast for anyone searching for more meaning in their work and life
You might listen to one of those common interview podcasts (they are everywhere), but this is not one of those, and that is a very good thing. It’s one of the best thinkers of our generation, best-selling author Seth Godin, talking and riffing on topics dear to him, and to us all. Sit, listen, contemplate, then “go make a ruckus.”
Think outside the box
The best business podcast. Completely out of the box thinking. It’s changed how I approach business.
Always entertaining and educational
Thanks for the great work Seth and team
Seth’s generosity of info and idea is contagious
Thank you Seth. You help me think and, better still, you and your audience serve to propel me to action in my own life. Idea sharing and producing is my passion. Thanks for being so articulate, wise and funny!
Generous and Provocative
Seth clearly enjoys imagining how things might be different and better. Each week, he approaches a different aspect of culture and seeks to improve it by inspiring the listener. You're going to think differently about culture if you listen.
always thought-provoking. a must for your podcast appetite.
Best podcast ever
In a world dominated by noise, Akimbo stands out with brilliant, insightful clarity. Thanks Seth!!
Seth can do no wrong...
I just can't consume enough of Seth's thoughtful content. I enjoy his Akimbo episode each week.
A small piece of feedback
Love Seth’s mind and insight. Would only request to speak at a slightly quicker, more fluid pace and less staccato. Thank you for continuing to contribute your work!
Good, when it's about actual marketing
I’ve read several of Seth Godin’s books and I love them. He writes in a to-the-point manner that gives insight into my own business/marketing needs. His ideas are fresh and often clarify large concepts that I couldn’t quite wrap my head around. But Seth is great at teaching these things. The akimbo podcast has many of these amazing insights into business and marketing. The first dozen or so episodes were a veritable gold mine of information. However, Seth’s tangents into other territories has made the podcast less palatable and less useful. These territories are masquerading as “culture” and “making a ruckus” but more and more sound like Seth’s own brand of liberal politics. Stick to the insightful marketing script please. What starts out as an engaging presentation about how I can be a more effective marketer in my own business evermore turns into what sounds like a socialist public service announcement. From rants about white privilege to subtle atheistic sermons Seth Godin loses his effectiveness. Why? Because “people like us” listen in order to gain knowledge to be more successful at business. Yes, I’m even in the business to make money! What a concept. Remember Mr. Godin, people are ultimately here to grow their business via effective marketing. Please stay on track.
Seth is a personal hero
I have followed Seth’s work for many years. Akimbo is now my most frequent window into what Seth is thinking about and it’s always something fascinating. If you want to be challenged or just truly delighted by wisdom, this is the place.
I adore Seth Godin and this podcast is no exception. I just shared this episode on Google and the history of search that every school student should listen to. It beautifully summarized the inception of Google and search from the beginning to today.
I just want to say that I haven’t found anyone out there who can share insights in such clear-concise-engaging way. Pure love to this podcast by Seth!!!
Capitalism topped with white guilt.
Godin’s commentary is a mishmash of bright marketing concepts and social justice self-loathing autoflagellation. People like me don’t need sanctimony like this.
Delivery is terrible.
I was really excited to see Seth had a podcast because I really enjoyed seeing him present at a conference. I am very very disappointed in this podcast and I’m amazed at all of the 5-star reviews. Delivery is terrible and not natural at all. Speech is way too slow and is very distracting to the content.
Fantastic! Thank you for your insights!,
Just smart and insightful
It amazes me that a human can formulate and express ideas like Seth does without making opinions. Brilliant mesh of historical evidence to support original thought. Thank You Seth. Helping me immensely.
Half the time
Seth sounds a little smug to me—like he thinks he’s talking to a group of 3rd graders; the other half, I find his ideas thought provoking & novel and actually potentially helpful.
Stretching the mind!
Seth’s blog and podcast inspire and stretch my thinking, and I can apply the lessons to work and life. Thank you Seth!!!
People Like Us Need Podcasts Like This!
Have you ever felt there’s something wrong with the way we do business today? Have you ever suspected that a lot of our long-held assumptions about Marketing, Sales, and even Education could use some healthy scrutiny? Every Wednesday, just in time for your morning commute (I check weekly, believe me), Seth delivers a fresh, well-researched, well-thought out insight. There’s no commitment to hours of listening to get to the good stuff. His messages are quick and thought-provoking. I know there’s a lot of self-serving business information out there, pretending to be helpful. Who needs tiring, numbered lists telling you how to get rich, or how to grow your business? There are many blogs for that. Who wants to hear more interviews of “experts” making their lives out to be perfect and their successes inevitable? There’s other podcasts for that. Instead, every Akimbo episode leaves you with something new to thing about. Somehow, Seth manages to create more space in my already-crowded mind! To get the same benefit, all you need to do is listen. Yes, there are sponsors but that a good sign. Companies are willing to pay to get their messages to people like you and they see Seth’s messages as valuable. For Akimbo, the only thing you’ll be paying with is your time. Give it a listen and I challenge you to say it’s not a worthy investment! Sincerely, Chris Pawar Cleveland, Ohio
Seth is one of the best thinkers out there
This short podcast explores various aspects of business, marketing, and life. He always find such new and insightful ways to think about problems. I love this podcast.
The best 30 minutes a week you’ll spend on yourself
Thank you Seth for breaking down big ideas into actionable steps. Look forward to each week and I would definitely notice if you weren’t here! Thank you again.
Seth is my hero. The REAL deal!
In a world with so much posturing and so much noise, Seth Godin is a bright light and a pure force of good. He encourages others to show up and share. To use our voices to be the change we want to see. To pick ourselves. His podcast Akimbo is fantastic. Value packed. His daily newsletter seems like he’s been in my head, speaking just to me. His books transformed my life, giving me the guts to walk away from my 25 year career. And his workshop,The Podcast Fellowship, got my idea of sharing my story out into the world in 8 short weeks. Seth is my mentor from afar, my hero. I’m so blessed to have stumbled upon his work a few short years ago. Subscribe to his podcast, but his books, join his workshops and change your life. Thank you for your generosity Seth. YOU are remarkable.

Useful, out of the box
Really great resource for all types of creators and alternative thinkers. I appreciate the listener question section for a slightly different look on the last week's topic.

Hey Seth- I have been following you for years via your books and newsletter plus when ever you are a guest on other people’s shows (video and audio) and now finally I get to enjoy you on your own podcast, thank you for remaining alive on this planet!
Anything that Seth Godin creates is genius. In his podcast, he deconstructs complex aspects of our life and work into small pieces that make sense and then puts everything together again. He teaches us to see things beyond the obvious and understand how change happens so we can move our work forward. Thank you, Seth Godin.
Clever and important
As a regular reader of Seth’s blog, I am also delighted to listen to his gems in this series. Very much appreciate his point of view, experience, and clear thought process. Thank you, Seth, for everything you share!
I am excited when I see a new episode
... in my feed! Each episode is filled with motivational encouragement in a way that only Seth can do. So much great content without fluff. One of my favorite podcasts!
An outstanding podcast on all things related to marketing.
I absolutely love this podcast and always look forward to a new one. I especially like the real-life stories that Seth Godin shares, whether they be from his life or from others. His experience in so many different areas translates into a masterclass every week. And I highly recommend visiting the show’s website to see the show notes, which are not like most show notes. They are like blog posts with graphics, videos, etc.
Quality Guy. Quality Podcast.
Content is deep and for real. Been a long term fan. U will definitely get a lot of value. Give me a well deserved listen

Such clarity. So much to ponder and have further conversations about. I want to make so many of these mandatory listening. Thank you Seth!
The Best Podcast
25 minutes of philosophy? That's what this is, and it's amazing.
Love his thinking hate his presentation
I wanted soooo much to love this podcast. Godin's work has been a constant for me in writing. But he has no energy whatsoever in his vocal delivery. I can barely stay awake listening. Honestly, I can't get past the first 10 minutes of any episode, despite trying mightily on multiple occasions. Seth: GET A COACH (or drink an espresso). No intonation, no modulation. It sounds like he is working hard to deliver in an expressionless monotone. Does he teach like this??? I certainly hope not for the sake of his students. Form should follow content. Here, I never get to the content for the form's shapelessness.
