Matt Ellks is a former pro surfer turned novelist from Bondi Beach, Australia. He is a historian of Southside Surfing and part of the greatest generation of surfers to come out of Bondi - one that included, Chris Brock, Joe Engel, Pauline Menczer, Cheyne Horan, Richard Cram, Bill Powers, among others.
