A conference organizer should be focused on bringing people together, not juggling registration systems, booth layouts, spreadsheets and disconnected data. Nextech3D.ai is developing agentic AI to simplify that work, allowing organizers to use natural language to build layouts, analyze event data and receive pricing recommendations.

The opportunity starts with an existing business. Through September 23, 2026, Nextech3D.ai reported approximately $1 million in new customer contract value, 180 new customer contracts and approximately 80% software gross margins.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

• AI Event Planning: Management demonstrated AI capabilities that can create booth layouts, analyze event data and recommend pricing decisions using natural-language instructions.

• 180 New Contracts: Nextech3D.ai reported approximately $1 million in new customer contract value through September 23, excluding renewals and upsells.

• Established Customer Base: Gappelberg says the platforms serve more than 800 organizers and approximately 6,000 events annually, with customers including Google, Microsoft, Meta and Amgen.

• Enterprise Sales Experience: New SVP of Sales Chad Prezlomski previously helped scale event technology company Splash to approximately $39 million in revenue before its acquisition by Cvent.

• CEO Commitment: Gappelberg received 7,420,880 shares at $0.10 per share to settle $742,088 in accrued salary, increasing his equity exposure.

STRATEGIC IMPLICATIONS

Nextech3D.ai is bringing AI into its Map D, Eventdex and KraftyLab ecosystem to reduce the manual work involved in planning and operating events.

Gappelberg described an internal demonstration where an organizer can ask AI to create booths with specific dimensions and aisle widths, then adjust the layout around larger sponsor spaces. The system can also recommend pricing changes based on supply and demand, subject to organizer approval.

The company already has customers and event workflows where these capabilities can be introduced. Prezlomski’s role is to turn that technology into larger enterprise relationships and expand existing accounts.

Longer term, management envisions AI using insights from previous conferences to improve future layouts, registration and other event decisions. Customer presentations are already underway, while broader capabilities remain part of the development roadmap.

CEO EVAN GAPPELBERG:

“We are bringing AI into an established platform. Real customers, real workflows, real commerce.”

INVESTOR TAKEAWAY
