This week we’re continuing our series in the Gospel of Mark. Over the next several weeks, we’ll be surveying this book to better know Jesus, his message, land his works. This Wednesday, we’re focusing in on Mark chapter 2 and Jesus as the great healer as seen in the healing of the paralytic man. There is a tension when we talk about Jesus’s healings though: why didn’t he heal more people? The answer is because their sickness was symptomatic of a greater problem: sin. This lesson will seek to show not only what our great sickness is but how Jesus is the cure for it.
