Rickey Gates is a runner, writer and photographer from Colorado. Rickey has competed in ultra running races all over the world. In 2017, he set out on a run across the United States in an effort to better understand himself and his country. He has since chronicled the journey in his book, Cross Country: A 3,700-Mile Run to Explore Unseen America and the remarkable film, TransAmericana.
