It is not comfortable to be a legitimate Christian. Advanced Christianity explores what it takes to walk the way of Christ, dying to self, loving the unlovable, praying for those who persecute you, and much more. 

Jesus did not promise prosperity, but tribulation. He also said, "If you love me, follow my commands." To truly love Jesus, we must step into the fire, not avoid it. For the fire burns the dross, the impurities in our hearts, and allows God's hand to mold us into the image of Christ.

Hebrews 12:8 reads "If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons."
