The minute we admit that we’re not doing as great as we want to, we’re putting ourselves on the hook to DO something about it. And that scares a lot of people.
If we can avoid responsibility and always have something or someone to blame, we NEVER have to do anything to fix it. Because it’s not OUR fault, it’s the systems or society or your parents to blame.
