University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) and the Technical University Teachers Association of Ghana (TUTAG) took the decisive step of walking out of a scheduled meeting with the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC). The reason cited for this action includes perceived bad faith, contempt, and a lackadaisical attitude on the part of the employer (FWSC) during discussions about crucial aspects of their conditions of service.
