This is just one of the many things that make our guests unique.Born and raised in a traditional Chinese family in Guangdong, Amanda's biggest dream has always been to travel the world and experience life in all dimensions. She started her career in Shenzhen and then moved to Hong Kong, Beijing, and Shanghai, where she built a successful career and met her husband, Ethan, through volunteer work. Together, they embarked on a journey to make her childhood dream come true by leaving everything behind and venturing on a 14-month trip to 45 countries and all 7 continents.Ethan was the kid who was supposed to lose at the starting line. From being abandoned as a baby in Taiwan, he went on to take on executive roles at Wall Street and even served in the Peace Corps. Ethan transforms disadvantageous experiences into opportunities, such as being afraid of water and becoming a rescue diver. He learned to view fear as an acronym: False Evidence Appearing Real; after that, his life has never been the same.
