Meera ViswanathanGirls Need Bravery Over PerfectionA lifelong educator and scholar, Dr. Meera Viswanathan holds her undergraduate degree, her M.A., and a Ph.D. from Stanford University. An expert in girls education and development, Dr. Viswanathan has been featured in the Wall St. Journal for her work at The Ethel Walker School, an independent all-girls school in Simsbury, CT.Dr. Viswanathan joined Walker’s from Brown University, where she was an Associate Professor of Comparative Literature and East Asian Studies.Dr. Viswanathan joined Brown University as a Japan Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow in the Comparative Literature and East Asian Studies departments. Subsequently, she became an assistant professor and was promoted with tenure.
