I was born in war-torn Croatia and experienced displacement and loss at a young age. After living in the refugee camps for 3 years I immigrated to the United States where I rebuilt my life while carrying the lasting effects of trauma and grief. Today, as the author of Under a Whistling Sky, I share my story to explore resilience, hope, and how people rebuild after life-altering events. My conversations are honest, reflective, and grounded in lived experience, offering listeners connection, perspective, and encouragement during difficult times of life
