Our first story is that of Tammy Perkins. Tammy, who grew up in a small town on the East Coast, and having come from humble beginnings, faced several harsh obstacles in her life. She experienced a void in her childhood that left her with a need to feel like she belonged, she raised her daughters to the best of her ability making sacrifices as a single teenage mom and later she fell into depression and anxiety as an adult.
