This episode was originally going to be called “about a ‘puerto rican’ guy,” but the world is in so much pain right now--in so many ways--so my “about a guy” Podcast, for this episode, is being called "about a 'brown' guy." Know that I am always going to seek to speak truth to experience and my experience tells me that--as much as I’d love to be seen for who I am first--it is my skin color that is seen FIRST. So, I may indeed be a son, a brother, uncle, and a friend, but all of those titles and labels come with an asterisk … a BROWN son, a BROWN brother, a BROWN uncle, and a BROWN friend.
