WHAT DOES THE WORLD SAYSHORT ANSWER: WE ARE HERE TO GLORIFY GOD, MAKE HIS NAME KNOWN, and live in communion with him. glorify: According to Lifeway, The verb glorify means “to give weight to” or “to honor.” Thus, to glorify God is to recognize God for who He really is and to respond appropriately. 1 peter Make his name known: The last commandment after Jesus’ resurrection from the grave that he gave to his disciples was  Matthew Jesus said commanded of his followers That we GO. and that we make DISCIPLES of every tribe, tongue, and nation and BAPTIZE THEM as well as TEACH THEM all the things Jesus commands us as believers, so that the glory of God and the revelation of God to man can be made available to everyone in the world! That because of God’s abundant grace we can be granted eternal life. Living in Communion with God Obtaining Communion with God is our final reward for the work that JESUS did on the Cross and imputed to us.  As it is said in Revelation 21 vs 2-5: “And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man.
