In this Earth Day episode we talk about the Ann Arbor Public Schools <a href='https://sites.google.com/a/aaps.k12.mi.us/enved/home'>Environmental Education program</a>. Since 1960 this program has been educating and inspiring students through meaningful learning experiences in the natural environment. Currently students in Young Fives through sixth grade take field trips designed to support and enhance the classroom curriculum. We also discuss the role the <a href='https://sites.google.com/a/aaps.k12.mi.us/enved/freeman-environmental-center?authuser=0'>Freeman Environmental Education Center</a> plays in the Environmental Education program and some of the potential the site offers for additional enhancements.
