Jahiara Farias is a Las Vegas native who has not only served her country as a United States Marine but has also served her community as a District Representative for Congresswoman Susie Lee. Although to some growing up surrounded by gang violence in the outskirts of Vegas, participating in two combat deployments, or getting into a life-changing motorcycle accident would have broken them.
