I'm so excited for this episode. My homie Se Kou is a goddamn Gem, and I'm so grateful we got the opportunity to sit down and talk for a few hours. We've been due for a long catch-up and this was just what the Doctor ordered. If you’d like to support our show directly please head on over to Patreon. Jeff Schaer-Moses
Jeff and I met at a show in Brooklyn last Fall. The Space Force Deserters and I were playing and at some point I said "This next song is called 'Miami, AZ'" and Jeff yelled out "What the fuck do you know about Miami, AZ?!". After the set he and I started talking and it turned out we had a bunch of mutual friends in Arizona as well as here in Brooklyn. Since then Jeff's been the homie. He's really good at bringing people together, making events and things happen even when he isn't physically there, as well as just getting folks psyched about a project or a show. This probably has a lot to do with why Mega Ran asked Jeff to be his manager a few years ago. He's got a great demeanor and nothing but nice things to say about all the right people, and happy to talk shit to and about the other folks who deserve it. This is a really fun episode with more of those leftist politics that might make your Uncles skin crawl. Please enjoy! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/adirtbagsguide/support

Chris Reiter
When I first met Chris Reiter about 8 years ago I thought to myself, "Wow, this dude really loves Bicycles, New York City, and he smokes hella weed". Little did I know that I'd be living with him a few months after that and that we'd still be living together all these years later. I'd say we've both changed a lot since we met, but those three things I first noticed haven't really changed at all. It's been a wild journey being Chris' friend all these years, and it's been really cool to have a front seat view as his relationship with his Bike and NYC have evolved over the years and how he now uses his Bike to escape the city he loves, and live off the grid whenever he has the chance. Give it a listen, you won't be disappointed! If you'd like to find out more about Chris you follow his instagram. Kat Hamilton
Shakespeare said something along the lines of "to thine own self be true" and according to my friend Kat Hamilton, that was pretty punk rock. While we mention musical theater (theatre?) a little bit in this episode, we don't really get to talking much about Old Shakey Bill. Sorry? What we do have here is a little over 2 hours of heartfelt and inspiring stories of dedication, triumph, and vision. It's a great overview of a lot of the pitfalls you may encounter as a DIY musician as well as a reminder that in order to be punk rock, you have to number one be true to yourself. What are ya waiting for? Go give it a listen! If you'd like to find out more about Kat and her projects, follow them on instagram! Joe Kaplow
Did anyone order a BONUS EPISODE?! No? Oh shit, sorry. I guess I should have double checked. My bad. Well, I recorded one anyway! For this episode I interview the homie Joe Kaplow. He's a phenomenal songwriter who currently calls Santa Cruz, CA his home. Joe asked me to open a show for him here in Brooklyn at Skinny Dennis next Monday May 9th and so we decided to catch up and talk about the show, as well as Joe's career up until this point. It's a great episode that I believe anyone who is a Musician, Artist, or just a fan of hearing about another human's personal growth, will really enjoy this one. You can check out more about Joe's Music and his tour on his Website.  Give him a follow on Instagram. Check out his YouTube. Listen to him on Spotify. And if you live in NYC be sure to get your tickets to the show at Skinny Dennis on Monday! If you’d like to support our show directly please head on over to www.patreon.com/charlesellsworth. Season 3 Q & A - Charles Ellsworth
I've been so super busy on The Moon & Miami tour that I haven't been able to record an interview for this week's podcast, so I decided that I'd do something different. I got folks to ask me questions about my life as a performer, about booking shows, playing music, etc via my Patreon page, Instagram, and Facebook. This week's episode is me answering all the questions that I was asked. It's a whole lot of me talking, but II think it's pretty fun & informative. I look forward to hearing what you all think of this week's episode! If you’d like to support our show directly please head on over to www.patreon.com/charlesellsworth. Josaleigh Pollett
If you've heard my song "Stuck Out In Texas" on the album Salt Lake City: A Love Story then you've hear the awe-inspiring vocal stylings of my friend Josaleigh Pollett accompanying me on the choruses of that song. If that's the only time you've heard her sing, you are missing the fuck out. She's a brilliant songwriter with the voice of an angelic bird and I'm so grateful to call her my friend. Josaleigh and I had a conversation over the phone a couple nights before I left on The Moon & Miami tour and I think this is a really fun and thoughtful conversation. It's quite a bit shorter than the usual episode, which some of you might really like. The sound quality isn't great because it was done over the phone, but the conversation was most excellent and I can't wait to hear what you all think about it. Carl M. Banks
Damn Y'all, I'm cutting it close on this one. Its 11:45PM the night before this assignment was due, and I'm getting it turned in on time. RIGHTEOUS! Lucky for all of you that this empisode (empanada + episode...i'm hungry) has my homie Carl M. Banks in it. We talk about how he likes to run egregiously long distances for fun as well as the small town outside of St. Louis, MO that he hails from. Carl is a gem and I'm so thankful that he sat down with me to talk all things dirtbag. We hit a very wide array of subjects and we even have an ADG never been done in this episode! Carl brought a join and we smoked it and then I try to ask him more questions, it's pretty much Action Bronson watches Ancient Aliens levels of funny. Don't sleep on it. David H. Holmes
Thisssss is just what I needed. I was kinda feeling a little blue about the old dirtbag/creative lifestyle and all of it's trials and tribulations the week that David and I spoke, and he said so many things that really hit right close to where I needed them to hit. It was a great conversation with a really interesting dude. I dig his approach to life and his craft a whole lot, and it was just great catching up with a friend I hadn't really been able to speak with since pre-covid. So sit back and enjoy this one! Devin Burnam
Helloooooo Dirtbags! I'm really excited about this episode and YOU SHOULD BE TOO! That's because my buddy Devin Burnam is my guest and he's just the best. Seriously, I've never met anyone that has spent time with Devin who doesn't like him. You're gonna love him. We talk about being an artist, how we pursue art and in some ways how our obsession with our craft leads to it pursuing us. It's a 2 hour ode of what it's like to go after a dream because you really didn't have any other choice. I tried a few things different with the format of this episode, and i'd be interested in getting feedback about it if you feel like doing that sort of thing.
