On March 26th, 2013, the body of Nhlanhla Gasa, a politically-connected millionaire businessman, was spotted floating in the Tugela River on KwaZulu Natal's north coast, and, not far away, his burnt-out Jaguar was discovered. Why had he been stabbed 12 times and his body dumped in a river? He had lived a colourful life. Had his past finally caught up with him or was there any truth to the rumours that he led a secret gay lifestyle and that his toy boy had killed him?
