Hiphop Culture has been tested by Da Baby's recent homophobic and insensitive speech on the stage of Rolling Loud. This has presented a lot of problems for the rapper Da Baby as cancel culture has rang and his shows have consistently been canceled. Hip-hop stars such as Lil Boosie and T.I. have come to his defense from cancel culture although both allegedly have a troubled history recently. People such as Demi Lovato and Elton John have criticized the rapper. This leads to a discussion on Hiphop vs Cancel Culture. One of Lil Boosie's favorite topics Lil Nas X has shown progression in the urban hip-hop genre, but Lil Boosie thinks that progression is leading to brainwashing. Are these old school rappers standing up for what's right and for Black Men or hurting the progress Hiphop has made in being more inclusive.
