TRIGGER WARNING: UPSETTING/DISTRESSING CONTENT

On today's Opinions Matter we asked if assisted suicide should be legal in Ireland and should we have clinics for it... Like in Switzerland... but not only for people who are terminally ill, also for people who just want to end their lives and feel it is their time to go.

We heard from a woman who told us that her husband asked her to end his life.... and about her reply stunned him!

We then heard from a search and rescue volunteer who spoke to us about the devastation he has witnessed as a result of suicide.
