日常交流中，当别人问你住哪，如果住的是酒店，我们第一反应可能会说I live in a hotel. 但是，老外听到这句回答的时候，心里非常有可能在想：Why do you live in a hotel instead of your house?

其实这种场景下用live是非常不地道的，因为live指的是长期的居住，用stay这个词才是最地道的，因为我们绝大多数时候住酒店，是临时住。
