Prayer of St. Francis   

Lord I pray thee Make of me 

An instrument The perfect peace to bring 

Where there is hatred, may I bring love 

Where there is malice, may I bring pardon 

Where there is discord, may I bring harmony 

Where there is doudt, may I bring faith 

Where there is error, may I bring truth 

Where there’s despair, may I bring hope 

Where there is sadness, may I bring joy 

Where there is darkness, may I bring light  

Oh master May I seek not so much to be comforted As to comfort  

To be understood as to show understanding 

To be loved as to love For it is in giving that we receive 

In forgiving that we shall be forgiven 

In dying that we shall rise up 

To life eternal.

天主，用我作你和平之使 

哪裡有仇恨，就讓我播種仁愛 

哪裡有殘害，就讓我播種寬恕 

哪裡有衝突，就讓我播種和諧 

哪裡有猜疑，就讓我播種信仰 

哪裡有謬誤，就讓我播種真理 

哪裡有絕望，就讓我播種希望 

哪裡有憂苦，就讓我播種喜樂 

哪裡有黑暗，就讓我播種光明  

主啊！

使我少為自己求， 少求受安慰，但求安慰人  (I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console) 

少求被瞭解，但求瞭解人 

少求愛，但求全心付出愛  

因為只有在施與中，我們有所收穫； 

在寬恕時，我們得到寬恕； 

在死亡時，我們生於永恆
