This is a collaboration I did on the Cocktails & Capitalism Podcast where I told the story about how William Randolph Hearst used Greed & Racism to criminalize cannabis and provide a stepping stone to the Modern War on Drugs. 

Hearst was America's first media mogul and served as the real life inspiration for Orson Wells' Citizen Kane (1941), widely considered the greatest motion picture in history.
