Andrew Mirabile is the soulful front man and songwriter of Andrew Mirabile and The Preachers. He's had a rollercoaster of a life and it absolutely comes through in his music. Ben Woodul of Dark Honey joins us for the first half of this podcast. His experiences being in a band and also as a musician trying to make it work provide a lot of poignant questions.

In part one of this podcast, we talk about songwriting through being vulnerable to your music as well as cultivating a sound and an aesthetic that an audience wants to feel a part of. We also talk about the two sides of the coin of improving yourself and how to avoid being complacent without disliking yourself.
