音楽・音響や映像を中心に、それらが再生される「空間」を研究。サウンドスケープやサウンドデザイン
についての実践を元に、音楽と環境のかかわり、音と知覚・感覚の問題なども考察する。現代アート・デザインにおける音楽の在り方についても共に考える場にする。
