Welcome back to another sweaty episode of the 5 O'Clock Sweats Podcast! In this week's episode, The Sweats don their ugliest Christmas sweaters and get festive as they kick off December with a Christmas movie episode! The guys take turns going around and naming their top movies to watch this time of year, including some heavy hitters such as Elf, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the good one with Jim Carrey, obviously). The Sweats also show some love to some hidden holiday gems such as Jingle All the Way, The Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special starring Kevin Bacon, and Silver Linings Playbook, which is a movie that takes place during Christmas, but isn't necessarily a Christmas movie. Still counts, though! To the surprise of nobody, Die Hard is brought up by Chris, which leads to The Sweats trying to finally answer the question of whether or not Die Hard is a Christmas movie. Feel free to leave a comment arguing for or against Die Hard's Christmas movie legitimacy! The Sweats end the episode with their Off the Clock segment, with Derick talking about Santa's big sack, Ryan wanting to see Godzilla Minus One to scratch his Kaiju movie itch, and Chris getting ready for the Modern Warefare III update to Warzone.
