A young boy with his mother in hospital and a military father gone MIA pursues his footballing dream in 2015’s “Golden Shoes”, a cheap-as-chips soccer film featuring shoes (boots) that aren’t even golden and the hyper-prolific Eric Roberts phoning it in.

Expect a bonkers plot, dreadful CGI and football scenes almost as bad as the war scenes. Never let not knowing anything about football stop you from making a football film.
