I am SO thankful I found this show. I cannot believe how much my kids love it, especially my 4 year old son. I think he has Jack the Giant Killer memorized in it’s entirety. The Story Cottage makes car rides a delight for the entire family and comes in handy for those days when I am so tired I can hardly talk at lunch time LOL. My husband and I have been wanting to expose our children to good myths and fairytales and this is such an enjoyable and easy way to do it. We love the takeaways at the end as that is the whole point of story telling! We want our kids to learn deep truths through a different lens. I saw this podcast mentioned on the Reformed Parenting fb page and I’m so glad I did! My girls are hooked and love listening to the stories. I really appreciate this podcast! It has quality voice acting with music and sound effects that are enough to bring the story to life but not be obnoxious or distracting. These stories are classic folktales and don’t stray from the original themes, I have a sensitive child but we are able to have edifying conversations through stories such as these. The classic tales put an appropriate emphasis on good vs evil and the danger of wicked characters versus the value of godly heroes and the hosts discuss these traits at the end of the episode even! My 6 year old asks to listen to The Story Cottage daily so we listen during our breakfast and look forward to each new episode.

Our kids love these stories! Such a fun retelling of the classics done in such a great and engaging way for kids! Super happy this podcast exists!
