So often, those who have been abused and intimidated feel the need to be silent, to not rock the boat, to move on and keep quiet—often out of fear or a sense of shame. They do the emotional work of carrying their abuser’s guilt in the shadows, unseen and unheard. But not Juniper. She places the burden back upon the shoulders of those who have perpetrated acts of violence. She speaks with resilience and pride, and she offers a lifeline to those who need it most, a friend to those who feel alone. I wish a podcast like this had existed when my mom, another strong woman, was waging her own silent battles. Can’t recommend this enough.

Thrilled to follow Juniper and hear more about her story, life, and about the impact of domestic violence. The trailer felt genuine and I really appreciated the call out for others to share their stories. The sound quality was great and I loved the music! Overall, I’m thinking this will be my next fave podcast.
