I love this podcast…they’re honest, funny, and share important info in a relaxed conversational way... It’s great learning all things foster and pets from such down to earth crew!

This person bought a litter of yorkie puppies from a backyard breeder and lied, saying they came from a show breeder who was going to put them down for not being perfect. Anyone with any sense/knowledge knows she makes up most of what she says while welling rescue dogs and adding to the shelter crisis.

Love Amy on the Tok, of course, and admire what you all do! I do have one constructive crit - at times the convo becomes pure cacophony with everyone talking over everyone else, and MANY stories get started (or just referred to) and never actually finished (derailed by others interrupting, or you all talk among yourselves and maybe forget that listeners don’t know the story?). Maybe this will improve with time? I hope so!

Learned about Amy on the Tok (as she would say). This group of people know the ins and outs of running a dog rescue and I learn from them with every episode. Rescue isn’t pretty, nor perfect, but without it, so many more animals would be dead because of overpopulation. Wanna learn what it takes to foster? Have a listen.

As a rescue person myself, I find it hard to listen to podcasts about rescue. After finding Amy on TikTok, I discovered your podcast, and I truly love it. Thank you for all you do and for bringing the rescue world out in the open.

I’m loving the pod, 2nd ep was great, can’t wait for future ep.

I lost my own reactive 14 yo ahole of a rescue dog (Wolfie) this week. He was a jerk but let me tell you I could not possibly have loved him any more than I did. This was so amazing (and therapeutic) to hear all of you talk about your own experiences. It’s exactly what I needed rn and I’m looking forward to hearing all the tea (and worms) spilled in future episodes! Def wanna hear the best and worst stories of rescue!
