This podcast is so good and unique. Feels like a weird true crime pod but it’s way more interesting that that. Such a gem! Update. This podcast is a must listen!

I’m only finishing episode 4 and I’m already dreading the end of this series. This podcast is so well written and produced…humorous, intelligent, and authentic. I can’t wait to see what Podcaster/Comedian Jacob Reed does next.

A strange obsession to find people with the same name as you and learn about their lives turns out to be a great premise for amazing storytelling! The show is compelling, funny, heartbreaking and everything in between. Totally recommend!

I agree with the reviewer who said to pull up a chair if you’re a fan of Heavyweight; this has a very similar feel and elicits similar feelings for me. Even when I initially think a subject won’t interest me, I’m delighted when it always ultimately does. I have thoroughly enjoyed this podcast, and Jacob Reed (Mr. “Me”), your season finale made me cry. I found myself cheering you on, and though I’m no jazz connoisseur, the “flub” in your show sure sounded like jazz to me!

This is the kind of podcast I never knew I was waiting for. Listened 3x now. No notes. ✨

I didn’t know what to expect but once I started I couldn’t stop listening. There are literally laugh out loud moments along with conversations that inform and challenge you. Well done!

It’s been awhile since I’ve picked a podcast randomly off the Apple Podcasts homepage, and I’m so glad I picked this one. It’s the good-hearted, funny, clever energy I’ve needed right now. Kudos to Jacob Reed for an excellent idea well done that is making me laugh and teaching me, while also entertaining me.

I just finished the first two episodes and can’t wait for the third. Great story telling, and great ways to combine some humor with deeper and more thoughtful subjects.

Jacob…I am a Wall and your podcast made me feel less empty. Keep it up!

I am a Type A, so most days I listen to the first podcasts in every section of the browse screen on Apple Podcasts. This is how I stumbled on Jacob Reed and Me. I have to admit, the premise sounded stupid, but the story telling is so strangely compelling that I think I will continue on. In the first episode, I was actually sad when things didn’t work out even though the chase was for someone who didn’t even exist. There is an interesting moral on the economic limits of creativity, as well. Worth the listen.

I love this podcast! Very original. The content is entertaining AND informative. As far as the ads, it took me a minute, but when I got it…genius!! Well done!

Whoever gave this show a one star review is wrong and should endure one serving of cold toast. This show is brilliant, beautifully done, and so deeply human. Jacob and team manage to be light and engaging while still poignant and moving. And the ads featuring other businesses owned by Jacob(s) Reed??? Oh my gosh so clever.

I love the sound of Jacob’s voice as he Chronicles, his adventure in finding others with his name. I love the background music and I feel like I’m really with him on this journey.. I’m even thinking of purchasing a copy of Seabreeze2!
