I think some people missed the memo on this being made by actors. You know, for entertainment? Just don’t expect an extremely detailed account of great escapes, this isn’t supposed to be a documentary. Expect a short silly story from each guest (usually actors, writers, comedians) in the beginning of each episode, and some silly commentary here and there throughout. So… It’s a comedy podcast! Maybe people also didn’t recognize the host, that might explain their confusion but iykyk

Lost me halfway through episode one. I was genuinely enjoying it, getting accustomed to the light vibe and humor… then they told me that I, as a Christian, am equal to El Chapo… all Christians are psychopaths, stated pretty flatly.

When are we getting another season?? The host does a fantastic job of bringing exciting stories to life with a great sense of humor!

I wait weekly to get my dose of Greatest Escapes. Arturo brings these stories with such a fun approach, sound effects and all! Can’t wait to hear what’s the next escape. 😉

A lot of unnecessary cursing and pointless side thoughts and silly endless conversations about nothing to do with the show. The best in this particular format/genre is The Heist Podcast.

Funny stuff! Lots of improv/off-the-cusp humor. Really enjoyed the music and background SFX…made it feel like a late night show in a way, but embedded with a history tale twist! I’ll def check out more episodes!
