As a recovering straight A student myself, I am loving this challenge of “unlearning” the mentality we’ve ll subscribed to for so long. Why ARE we always giving ourselves milestone after milestone, something additional to accomplish, more money to make, another accolade to put in our treasure box. The older I get the more I realize that these capitalist endeavors won’t actually make me happy but will just ask more of me and take me away from the actual enjoyment of where I already am. Thank you for such a necessary and profound message and encouragement to slow down and reassess - talking stock of what my new life goals and only on my terms.
