 Presented by Elizabeth Bromley, MD, PhD, Elizabeth Mackey, LMSW, Joanna Berton Martinez MPH, and Lisa Davis, PhD. Collaborators: Shoshanna Scholar, La Tina Jackson, Erica Shehane, David Haynik. This training provides an in-depth guide to the Harm Reduction approach, beginning with the framework of dignity of risk. There is a focus on Motivational Interviewing interventions including PACE, OARS, and Stages of Change. Practical case application is utilized to emphasize the ability to roll with resistance, often through discovery and utilization of the client’s values.
