In this episode, United flight 1001 (B757) takes off from Los Angeles (LAX).

Immediately, several other pilots radio the tower, to let them know they saw a tire fly off the United plane on take off.

The tower initiates a runway inspection to determine which tire they are missing.

To top it all off, at the end of the recording, you will hear another United flight, report a bird strike.

Talk about a busy day for the controllers at LAX!
