The Anaheim Ducks have a new head coach! Alexis Downie breaks down Thursday's introductory press conference with sound from general manager Pat Verbeek (2:03) and head coach Joel Quenneville (3:54). Ducks owner Henry Samueli (6:15) spoke with the media afterwards to share his perspective of the process and expectations moving forward. Ducks players Frank Vatrano (20:02), Ryan Strome (23:50) and Troy Terry (27:46) also shared their excitement with the media. Additionally, we hear from survivor and friend, Chris Jensen (32:40), about being a part of the day.

The 2024-25 Anaheim Ducks season is officially over and it was a year of growth! Before the guys headed out of town, Alexis Downie caught up with a few of the young players to evaluate their seasons. Downie chats with Leo Carlsson (3:57), Jackson LaCombe (12:20). Cutter Gauthier (18:18), Olen Zellweger (24:41) and Mason McTavish (34:44).

For this week's episode, Alexis Downie is joined by Jonny Lazarus, host for Daily Faceoff covering the New York Rangers and a returning guest to the show. Lazarus shares stories from creating on-ice content with BR Open Ice, storylines in the NHL this season and the growth of the college hockey game.

Friedge gives details about this year's biggest moves and what it looked like from his perspective. Additionally, Friedge shares his thoughts on the Anaheim Ducks this season and their move of Brian Dumoulin.

The Anaheim Ducks have began their 15-game March schedule and there are meaningful games ahead. Alexis Downie sits down solo in the Paul Kariya studio this week to talk about where the team is at. Downie chats through the pros and cons recently out of their play and how the young players have each individually progressed. Lastly, Downie touches on the trade deadline and the San Diego Gulls.

Alexis Downie is joined by the head coach of the San Diego Gulls, Matt McIlvane, this week to catch up on their season! McIlvane shares updates on the team, how the rookies have adjusted, the all-star Sam Colangelo and much more.

The World Junior Championship just wrapped up and two Anaheim Ducks prospects are gold medalists! Carey Terrance (1:19) and Austin Burnevik (14:20) joined Alexis Downie this week to recap the tournament, the emotional gold medal game for Team USA, seeing familiar faces and how their seasons are going with their respective teams.

We welcomed TNT and Chicago Blackhawks analyst Darren Pang back to Light the Lamp this week! Panger joined Alexis Downie to recap the Winter Classic game at Wrigley Field. Panger also talked about his transition to Chicago and the new Chicago Sports Network.

ESPN Rules Analyst and former NHL referee Dave Jackson joined Alexis Downie this week to talk through his career. Jackson shared his perspective of how officiating has adapted with the changing game of hockey, the community amongst referees and also shared some of his favorite stories. Additionally, Jackson gave a behind-the-scenes look of his day-to-day working with ESPN.
