In the dynamic world of dance music, some names are simply unforgettable, and Hex Hector stands among them. As we roll out Volume 6 in our tribute series to this remixing legend, we've handpicked another playlist filled with his top hits, showcasing his incredible talent for redefining classics and igniting dance floors.

Hex Hector’s skills were initially honed in the club scenes of New York, with legendary stints at iconic venues like the Tunnel and the Limelight. His craftsmanship eventually propelled him to win the Grammy for Remixer of the Year in 2001. And speaking of Grammys, let's not forget paradigm-shifting remix of Whitney Houston's "I Learned From The Best," by HQ2 a masterstroke in balancing emotive vocals with danceable beats. Houston’s emotive intensity gets a whole new canvas to shine on in this high energy remix, and the result is nothing short of transformative.

But the Grammy-recognized talents don't end there. Hector gave us a riveting version of Toni Braxton's "Un-Break My Heart," a remix (with Soul Solution) that redefined the emotional ballad into an upbeat, heart-pounding anthem. It's like he took Braxton’s heartache and converted it into raw dance energy.

Hex also has a penchant for unveiling hidden gems in songs lesser-known to the masses.
