Emma Doyle's interviews coaching legend, Patrick Mouratoglou, Serena Williams' Coach in 2017 when they presented at Italian Symposium together in Rome. Patrick talks about the importance of being able to "hear" what the player is thinking and then Simon Blair and Emma talk about the importance of breaking patterns, results vs process focus, and a quick lesson in customer service 101 from Simon.
Founder and Chair of the Mouratoglou Academy, Patrick Mouratoglou is the most influential coach in tennis. Nicknamed “The Coach”, he is the gold standard on the international circuit. After a successful start to his career with a number of high-level players, he became Serena Williams’ official coach back in 2012. This was a decisive moment in his career. The “Dynamic Duo” have been together for seven years, and continue to make some of the greatest history in tennis.
