We sit down with Trevor Hudson, a Methodist pastor and author from South Africa, for a conversation about the Ignatian Exercises. Trevor shares how he was first introduced to them in 1990, what eventually led him away, and what drew him back. We explore the idea of "friendship" with Jesus, what attracts us to him and what separates us, and touch on suffering and grief as part of the spiritual journey. Learn more about Trevor's work, including his book Seeking God: Finding Another Kind of Life with St. Ignatius and Dallas Willard (https://www.amazon.com/Seeking-God-Finding-Another-Ignatius/dp/1641584386).https://conversatio.org/ignatian-spirituality/Learn more about Cloudwalk Ministries: https://cloudwalk.orgSupport the work of Cloudwalk Ministries: https://cloudwalk.org/give

Episode 58: Ignatian Spirituality with Trevor Hudson, Part 2 of 3

Cloud Walk has spent the past 17 years creating experiences to be used as a catalyst to ongoing formation and spiritual growth. The ThinSpace Podcast is a new way for this ministry to share with the community what God has so generously shared with them.

The desire for the ThinSpace Podcast is to not simply fill some space, but to help you create a space where you will experience true intimacy with God. We believe from past experiences with friends at Cloud Walk that the ThinSpace Podcast is a great place to begin or to continue your spiritual Journey.
