Mamina’s idealistic parents were drawn to Korean religious leader Sun Myung Moon’s Moonies. Her parents were part of a 2000-person arranged marriage ceremony and she spent two years at a performing artists boarding school in Seoul Korea. Fearing for his life, Mamina’s father after reporting back that Reverend Moon’s daughter was cheating on her husband.
