Being asked to be in the delivery room with someone is a pretty high honor. In most cases, it's a partner and/or fellow parent-to-be who gets picked, so they can support their significant other and witness the birth of their child. But recently it's become increasingly common for other people to assume they'll be present during a birth. For whatever reason, mothers-in-law seem to be requesting front-row seats in the delivery room lately, and it appears that daughters-in-law everywhere are pretty much horrified by the "trend." The only person who gets to make the final decision on who is and isn’t in the delivery room is you. Dr. Oakley & Holly will chat about delivery room etiquette in this episode.
