Bayern Munich almost made SC Freiburg look like an easy opponent, then in the last ten minutes things almost went sideways. In terms of scoreline this may seem like a routine win, but given all the difficult circumstances at the club right now, Vincent Kompany and Aaron Danks will cherish the three points they earned on Sunday night.

In this episode we discuss the following:

• The rationale for choosing the starting XI for a game like this.
• A recap of the momentum shifts in the game.
• Why Bayern Munich using overlapping depth has backfired.
• Lennart Karl is becoming a huge headache for the team and this is why.
• How the momentum loss in late game is a game management issue.
• Player ratings for the starting XI.
