Maybelle Blair became one of the sensations of the Tribeca Film Festival recently when the former All American Girls Professional Baseball League player was on a panel to discuss the upcoming A League of Their Own TV series. During which she came out publicly for the first time. At age 95.

As you might have guessed, she's an amazing person and a credit to Team LGBTQ. During my interview, she spelled out exactly why her coming out seemed so spontaneous and demonstrated her passion for keeping the history of the AAGPBL alive through the upcoming International Women's Baseball Center.
