Pig Snout is a band consisting of my long time Tacoma buddy Justin Tamminga and his children, Dahlia and Lucien. At the time of this recording, Dahlia was 10 years old and Lucien was 13. Obviously it's pretty rare kids this young start a band with their dad, but what I most love about talking them about their worst show is the total lack of concern around criticizing hallowed musical institutions (like the Rialto Theater). And they don't care about sounding cool or impressive. They just like what they like and don’t hesitate to let it be known. Their honesty and humor was a treat, and I'm grateful to their musical papa for exposing them to music at such an early age.
