Love Connor and JD
Came to this show from Blank Check, some of the earlier episodes are deepened from Connor’s excellent Dead Eyes podcast (and of course listen to any Blank Check with JD, Connor, or “George”). Revisiting some of the hopes, dreams, fears of some of the earlier episodes, I’m so happy that you’ve both continued as creators. Thanks for bringing this quiet beauty into the world.

Listen to a Friendship Over Years
J.D. Amato and Connor Ratliff are two friends in New York who record a podcast where each episode is a 12 hour long unedited conversation. J.D. is a TV director and producer and a UCB alum. Connor is a UCB performer and actor in TV and movies. Usually they are at one of their apartments or wandering around New York. Sometimes J.D. has to work or Connor has to perform. One time they fall asleep on a flight to Denver and the episode has several hours of plane white noise. The most (or maybe least) surprising part of this show is how well I feel like I know them after listening to 17 episodes. I know where they live, what their apartments are like, where they grew up, their best stories from high school, etc. etc. I saw Connor perform a while ago, and it was a bit weird to realize he's actually a stranger. Also, I would remiss if I didn't point out that New York is definitely a character in this (ed note: can't tell if this is ironic or not. Troublesome if not). Next time you are on a plane or are trying to fall asleep or lonely in your apartment, start with episode 13.

This is a good thing!
Absolutely love it. Great background podcast, but also an interesting enough to stay engaged. Allows you to sort of drift in and out with it.
Also, been loving the GLTS watchalongs. Can we get a 12-day stream??

a slice of beauty
once the novelty of the length passes, you’re left with a funny, intimate, introspective, informative, and quietly beautiful recording.

Innovation at its most sincere
I've never written a review on iTunes before but felt compelled to give this podcast my ultimate stamp of approval. 12 Hour Day subverts commonplace podcasting, and beyond that, basic storytelling, to give listeners and/or viewers authentic insight into the dynamics of a friendship as well as the nuances of these two unique individuals, J.D. and Connor. By spending twelve naturalistic, uninterrupted hours with them, we're achieving a deep human connection and understanding that no other technological medium can provide today.
Also, this podcast is pretty funny.

It's nice to be nice
It's so easy in life to be negative. I think even if you can't sit through all twelve hours, a small dose of this podcast could make you want to be nicer, more generous, and more open-minded with your friends and the world at large.

Wonderful
Is it consistently as focused and entertaining as I would like? No. Because it’s 12 hours long. But if you want to spend basically a day hanging out with a couple of your coolest friends who ignore everything you say and do, this is the way to go. J.D. And Connor’s dedication to this absurd idea is commendable to the point of being heroic. Shine on, you crazy diamonds. Brumby bros 4eva.

Time Well Spent
It took me over a week to listen to the first episode of this podcast and as a result I became woefully behind on all my other podcasts but do I regret my decision? NO. THIS IS A GOOD THING TO SPEND HALF A DAY ON. JD and Connor's banter is wonderfully witty and hilarious and at times very deep & real. And I respect that. A+ stuff, keep it up, brumby forever

It's a bit breathy in the first and last hour. Other than that, great for a party mix!

Awesome Podcast!
This is such an enjoyable podcast to listen to. You get the sense that you are listening to two friends have a genuine conversation. Although 12 hours seems long, they are both very interesting and funny, so it passes by very quickly. I actually really like the extended format because it lets Connor and JD get really in depth with each topic. I'm really looking forward to the next expisode.

Exceeded Expectations
While it's one 12 hour long podcast the conversations moves in so man different dicrections that it feels like many podcasts all into one. It was very fun to listen to and to spend the day with J.D. and Connor, I can't wait for the next episode.
